Partners in Transformation was established by Suzanne Luxemburger and Melanie Koso. They share a passion for leading an authentic life while continually pursuing personal growth. Suzanne and Melanie both have a desire to inspire and enable others to better manage life milestones and business transformation through their customized programs and services founded in evidence based research. The natural symmetry between both of their educational backgrounds and career paths allowed Partners in Transformation to be born.

Suzanne Luxemburger is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW), as well as the Ontario Association of Social Workers (OASW). She has a Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of Waterloo and a Master of Social Work degree from York University.

Suzanne has 10 years of experience in the mental health field in various capacities including working with several hospital outpatient programs, community case management, community development, and individual therapy. She currently works at a local hospital in the Outpatient Department providing group and individual psychotherapy, as well as provides individual therapy in her private practice. Suzanne remains current in her field by following the latest research, attending formalized education and certification programs, and participating in consultation. She has been trained by world-renowned leading researchers in the latest cutting edge therapies.

Some of her training includes Levels 1 and 2 Cognitive Behavourial Therapy Certificate, Certification in Trauma Counselling, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, as well as her own formal and informal Mindfulness practice. Suzanne draws on one therapy or several depending on the needs of the individual.

Melanie Koso has a true passion for managing transformational change both at the organizational and individual level. Her educational pursuits allowed her to develop the business knowledge, skills and acumen to pursue a career in this space. She attended the University of Waterloo where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts and Business Degree with a major in Speech Communication and a specialization in Human Resources Management. She then continued her studies at Queen’s University to achieve a Master of Industrial Relations degree.

Melanie began her career at a global consulting firm where she consulted for clients in Canada, the US, and South America. She consulted for companies who were undergoing large scale change often enabled by technology. Melanie was responsible for managing the people side of the change ensuring efficiencies were realized and minimal reductions in productivity occurred. After working in consulting for almost 5 years, she returned to school to complete her Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Ivey Business School, Western University. After completion of her MBA, Melanie accepted a position with a leading telecommunications provider as a Senior Strategy Manager where she continues to pursue her passion in managing large scale change.
